A dozen significant software features, enhancements and program improvements have been added to Version 8.0 of Zontec's Synergy 2000 SPC Software, available beginning today. The new features have been designed to streamline many of the routine program operations, making these tasks much more efficient and adding greater usability to the software.

Among the new features are faster setup options for parts, processes and quality characteristics, and templates that assist with the creation of ID and note tags for traceability, assignable causes and corrective actions.

Synergy 2000 Version 8.0 also incorporates short run, Delta and net weight functions into its single mode math calculator and the ability for production personnel to view video training content.

All new purchases of Synergy 2000 software placed on or after October 1, 2009 will be processed as Version 8.0 orders, and existing users under the annual Service Agreement Plan will automatically receive the 8.0 program update at no charge.
